K-FSI

K-FSI (Korea Financial Security Institute) is a South Korean organization responsible for evaluating cloud service providers (CSPs) used by financial institutions. It enforces compliance with the Regulation on Supervision of Electronic Financial Transactions (RSEFT), which governs the protection of electronic financial transactions and customer data. Financial institutions in Korea must ensure that any cloud services storing sensitive financial data or supporting critical transaction systems meet K-FSI requirements. Compliance is mandatory to maintain the security, reliability, and integrity of financial operations in the cloud.
