Databricks is looking for a Procurement Data Analyst, reporting to the Finance Data and Systems Director. You will combine finance and accounting expertise with technical proficiency in SQL and Python to support the Procurement organization in driving efficient growth in the business. You will design, build, and maintain reporting and analytics to support end-to-end procurement operations, including spend management, supplier onboarding, contract management, and purchase requisitions.
The impact you will have:
- Extract data from multiple sources using SQL and Python to create standardized tables in the data lake for spend, savings, contract management, and workflow throughput
- Build and maintain source of truth for Procurement's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Build reports and dashboards for audit reporting and ad-hoc reporting
- Partner with cross-functional organizations to align reporting
- Provide insights into procure-to-pay (P2P) improvement areas and process evolution
- Learn procurement processes and tools to support the operations team as needed
- Create and maintain documentation of data lineage, data models, and business logic
- Adhere to SOX control standards with version control of code changes, peer reviews, data quality monitoring, and data reconciliations
- Provide support during month-end close and ensure timely resolution of data-related issues
What we look for:
- 4+ years building and maintaining reporting
- Working experience with SQL and/or Python (experience with Databricks platform is a plus)
- Ability to transform datasets to create meaningful reports and visualizations/dashboards using Databricks, Tableau, or comparable software
- Comfortable managing large datasets and automating workflows (e.g., cleaning and manipulating data from multiple sources)
- Experience with procure-to-pay systems such as Zip, NetSuite, and Ironclad
- Driven person who can work in a team environment and communicate at a high level
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-growing environment

- Fluent in English
