As Databricks continues to expand globally, a strong People Compliance program is essential to ensuring that the organization’s policies, protocols, and practices are in alignment with global regulations, laws, and Databricks' culture. The Sr. Global People Compliance Manager will lead the function and report to the Director of Global Mobility & Compliance. This is a great opportunity to provide vision/direction to an emerging program and company.

  • Develop Databricks’ strategy for global HR compliance, defining the People Compliance ecosystem and establishing clear R&Rs across teams
  • Determine and oversee the People Compliance priorities and roadmap, in partnership with People Partner and Legal teams
  • Oversee obligations under the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), including preparing annual affirmative action plans and fulfilling state-mandated reporting obligations
  • Partner internally with HR, Payroll, and Legal teams to monitor and analyze data, identify trends, and propose continuous improvement strategies 
  • Oversee and ensure alignment across global compliance efforts, updates to policies, processes, mandatory country audits, and necessary training/education
  • Manage the execution of necessary policy and/or protocol changes throughout the organization (i.e. mandatory training, country handbooks, etc.)
  • Establish a regular review cadence with Legal, HR, and Works Councils/Unions where applicable
  • Serve as the People team POC for all company-wide special compliance projects

What we look for:

  • You’re a problem solver with successful program, project, and process management experience
  • Experience designing, scaling, and transforming programs with measurable impact
  • Solid technical knowledge and experience of global People Compliance, OFCCP, EEO, and AAP 
  • Strategy and planning mindset, execution/delivery, influencing executive stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training programs on DEI compliance

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
