Databricks Asset Bundles

In this brief demonstration, we give you a first look at Databricks Asset Bundles.

Databricks Asset Bundles is a new capability on Databricks that standardizes and unifies the deployment strategy for all data products developed on the platform. It allows developers to describe the infrastructure and resources of their project through a YAML configuration file.

 

Note - at Data + AI Summit in June 2025, Databricks released Lakeflow. Lakeflow unifies Data Engineering with Lakeflow Connect, Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines (previously known as DLT), and Lakeflow Jobs (previously known as Workflows).
